A Night of Celebration, Scholarship, and Community Impact
On the evening of June 10, 2025, Harram Temple No. 23 proudly hosted its annual Watts Sanderson Jr. Memorial Educational Grant Awards Ceremony, honoring the academic achievements and bright futures of six outstanding high school graduates from across the Tampa Bay area.
Held at the Egypt Shriners Center of Tampa Bay, this heartfelt event brought together Nobles, families, educators, and community supporters to celebrate the next generation of leaders. Each recipient was awarded an educational grant to support their post-secondary studies—reflecting our ongoing commitment to uplift youth through scholarship and service.
The evening featured remarks from distinguished Temple leadership and a keynote address by Mr. Ian Wilson Sr., M.Ed., M.A., Assistant Dean of Communications at St. Petersburg College. Mr. Wilson’s words offered both inspiration and encouragement, emphasizing perseverance, self-belief, and the importance of community support in shaping a successful path forward.
Special thanks to Hillsborough County Florida for their generous sponsorship and continued support of this vital initiative.
