On August 20, 2002 Past Potentate Eric R. Myers of Harram Temple No. 23 made history for the Desert of Florida with his election to the Imperial Council as Imperial Outer Guard! Past Potentate Myers is the first noble from the state of Florida  elected to the Imperial Council.
